Right folks, here we go again.
Have spoken to the M.O.D. about a date, and no problems are foreseen for the 13th - 14th October.
Remember, this is not confirmed yet, but if it is different, it will be a week later. Anyone who can't attend because of a date change will be refunded in full.
A few changes this time round.....
Scrap tyres: You WILL take them home.
Rubbish: Put it in tied up bin bags.. Then I'll sort it, just don't take liberties.
The gate: With the issues we had last time, it will be open at set times. And only at set times. Don't panic, there will be plenty of opportunity to get fags and fuel.
Evening entertainment: Believe it or not, we won't be asking the DJ back. Instead we'll get someone with a big car stereo to sound us out, and we're planning a rodeo bull.... hehehe...
Track marking will remain tyres and occasional cones, as before. Cones are stupid expensive, so not this time.
As you can see the price has risen.... that's just to take some pressure off of us... .the last one was so tight it's not funny - it ended up costing me after the clean-up costs
We anticipate Huge interest in this one - so get in quick... because we WILL be turning people away.
All attendees MUST pay in full in advance. NO cash in the gate this time around - cos we got a bollocking from the M.O.D:(
Same drill as before... paypal to turboturtle555@yahoo.co.uk with some details on your payment please, as it got confusing last time.
or PM me and I'll sort my address for ya.
You know the format.... hooligans weekend away - just don't take the michael out of the few rules we do enforce...
Come on peeps, this ones looking even more funtimes!
There's a few free spectator places up for grabs for people who want to marshall - the driver marshall places are taken (suprise, suprise...). PM me and we'll talk.

Comp:
The plan is thus.... Saturday will be pratice only, with a small informal competition on the Sunday for each of the disciplines (Drag, Drift, T/A).
As timing gear seems to be out of our reach (£2000 to rent anyone???) the T/A will be timed by an official with a stopwatch, and the drag will be 'first past the post goes through' (if it's too close to call, it'll be 'one more time' until we find a clear winner through missed gear/botched start/whatever).
There will be limited places in the competitions, and it will be a case of sign on for the comp on the Saturday (don't panic, no extra charge....). Those only attending on the Sunday will have to let us know if they want a space.
For the Drag, names will be drawn out of the hat on Saturday night for the first rounds - shoot out rules. 3 classes - FWD, RWD and 4WD. And the silly stuff need not apply (that means you on the bike).
For the T/A, it'll simply be who posts the fastest lap by our stopwatch wins. 2 official runs each, slowest one dropped. And the track will be decided on and not changed from 12 Noon on Saturday. Again, 3 classes - FWD, RWD and 4WD. Silly shit welcome
The drift will be based on 3 solo runs, judged out of 100 by judges yet to be named, with the worst run dropped. Then the final 8-ish will go out twin and be judged again out of 100.
Anyone NOT happy to twin will be judged to have forfeit at the twin stage. 2 classes for drift - JDM Bummers and sheds.
We are now acquiring prizes from all over the place, for each of the classes and disciplines. But don't go expecting a new set of 19" Advans... we aint that good yet...
